Junior Sales Development Representative

The opportunity

As Safetures marketing and sales teams are continuously growing, they are now looking to establish a brand new Sales Development team! Offering full-time positions based in Lund, they are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for the Nordic market.

Since this is a new team and new roles, you’ll have the chance to make an impact, try new processes and develop business opportunities for the company. As the Sales Development team is the bridge between marketing and sales, you’ll be working with inbound leads from marketing as well as outbound prospecting activities. You’ll identify and research companies to target, and create email messages and campaigns to generate sales opportunities. This is a junior role that is ideal for YOU straight out of Business school or University wanting to start your career in marketing and sales within the IT industry.

What will you do?

  • Prospecting Machines – find new future customers by researching and identifying target companies and contacts

  • Salesforce Nerds – continuously update and extend our database by creating new accounts (companies) and contacts in our CRM tool, Salesforce

  • Lead Masters – managing and following up on qualified leads from marketing in order to convert them into sales opportunities

  • Connecting & Outbound Champions – reaching out to existing and new cold contacts through consistent multi-channel outbound activities using emails, phone calls and LinkedIn

  • Opportunity Hunters – generate new business opportunities to the sales team, increasing the quality of our sales pipeline

About you 

For you to be a successful candidate in this role, you have to be a social and outgoing person with good communication skills with a big interest in marketing and sales. A requirement is that you both write and speak professional business Swedish and English (skills in other Nordic languages is a strong asset). You are not intimidated by contacting new people over email and phone, and handle rejection with ease. You enjoy building new relations with various types of people, and like to work in a structured and methodical way. Most importantly, you’re a driven, goal-oriented and self-motivated individual who doesn’t give up easily!
