What do you do at Safeture?
As a Marketing Project Manager, I work both strategically and operational with the website development as well as written product information, onboarding material, and other types of communication to make the Safeture experience easier and better. Recently we launched our new website safeture.com, which was a really fun and rewarding project. If you haven’t already – check it out!
What are you most passionate about when it comes to your work?
There are two main motivational factors that drive me in life and make me excited about the future – learning new stuff and the feeling of creating something. I get to do both at Safeture thanks to the dynamic and fast-paced environment. When I started at Safeture, I had just graduated from university and had more of a theoretical view of business and marketing. From working with it practically and being involved in many different types of projects, I have learned so much in such a short period of time.
Lessons learned during your career?
Since I am just at the beginning of my career: here are three main lessons from a new marketer:
- Always put the customer in the center. Communicate what value are you offering them and what problems are you solving instead of just bragging about the great features of your product.
- Stop thinking that everyone knows it all because nobody does. Ask questions when there’s something you do not understand instead of being scared of sounding stupid. That’s how you learn.
- Dare to challenge yourself and others. Questioning the status quo and ”how we do it around here” is what I believe will drive innovation and growth.
Favorite things to do when you are not working?
As much as I wish I could say that I am super nerdy at something specific, I am a true generalist also in my personal life. I love trying new things and seeing new places. I often have some kind of mini-project going on at home. It can be anything – like building a dining table or learning how to build an app.
Something not many might know about you?
I have practiced and competed in jump rope for 10 years of my life.
