About the job

As mentioned, we are looking for our pioneer building the Sales Development team. You will be the one who sets the footprint and accelerating the direct sales to new levels and targets.

You will be starting from scratch, and you will be the overall responsible for the success of starting, building, accelerating, and forming this new part of the Company.

You will be a part of the management group and report to Sales Director and CEO.


Set the pace, being the crash pilot.

In the initial part of the buildup, you will, with your experience, set the pace yourself by starting with the groundwork. Finding the best process for getting them outbound leads. Via email, LinkedIn, phone, or whatever tools you find best suited. (we already today have several tools for this task) you need to work closely with our SalesForce, responsible for making sure we can tweak the CRM to the new workflow.

  • Approach 1 or 2 markets
  • Onboard 1st team colleague
  • Implement the work process
  • Proof concept, by reaching targets KPI´s
  • Setup market communication
  • Plan for Phase 2
  • Timeline approx. 6 months

Phase 2 and forward


Now we are past the honeymoon, and let’s get to the next level. We have now seen the initial results, and the rollout starts. You will recruit new colleagues and making sure they reach the stars in a fun, collaborative, yet competitive and result-oriented world. Reaching new markets and setting the pace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve new Annual Contract Value (ACV) Revenue lead targets from the SDR team
  • Hire, lead, coach, and manage the SDR-team
  • Work collaboratively with sales reps to develop territory plans, sales strategies and messaging to key prospects
  • Provide leadership, inspiration, and motivation to team members
  • Sales 1to1 training – tactics and techniques, sales process and messaging
  • Ensure prospect database aligns with the target market. Evaluate and Procure 3rdparty tools that will assist in prospecting efforts if needed.
  • Administrative (compensation plans, reviews, training)

Experience is always a good thing!

  • BS/BA Degree or similar (not mandatory)
  • +2 years’ experience leading a Sales Development team or B2B Sales team selling to mid-market customers within the software industry.
  • Successful track record of exceeding sales quotas as an individual
  • Proven ability to drive a sales process from the initial call to close
  • Must be able to work full-time at our brand new office in central Lund (300m from the train station.)

It is a benefit if you also have

  • Experience from a software company, preferably SaaS-based
  • Experience working in a start-up environment where everyone plays multiple roles but still maintain a focus on executing against your core objectives
